A Winning Record

40% (average) of EHS seniors graduate with honors each year.
EHS has qualified 85 students for the national forensics tournament in the last 15 years. For the fifth consecutive year the EHS forensics squad brought home a trophy in the 4A State Speech Championships.
Over 50% (average) of the graduating seniors are awarded scholarships each year.
With a few exceptions, USD 490 students consistently score above the state and national average on assessment tests.
El Dorado Middle School and El Dorado High School were awarded a five year accreditation status by the Kansas State Board of Education. In addition, both have earned North Central Association Accreditation.
