A Winning Record
  • 40% (average) of EHS seniors graduate with honors each year.
  • EHS has qualified 85 students for the national forensics tournament in the last 15 years. For the fifth consecutive year the EHS forensics squad brought home a trophy in the 4A State Speech Championships.
  • Over 50% (average) of the graduating seniors are awarded scholarships each year.
  • With a few exceptions, USD 490 students consistently score above the state and national average on assessment tests.
  • El Dorado Middle School and El Dorado High School were awarded a five year accreditation status by the Kansas State Board of Education. In addition, both have earned North Central Association Accreditation.
